Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how wrdly (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the wrdly writing apps and websites, including wrdly.app, get.wrdly.app, press.wrdly.app, and the wrdly iOS app.

Information we collect

• Account information. Email address and authentication credentials (passwords are handled by our auth provider; we do not store plaintext passwords).
• User content. Projects, documents (chapters, sections, scenes, notes), writing settings, and related metadata such as titles and word counts that you create in wrdly.
• Technical data. Basic service logs needed to operate the product (for example, timestamps of sign-in or save errors). We do not use advertising identifiers or sell personal information.

How we use information

We use this information to:

• Provide, sync, and back up your writing across devices
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure
• Improve reliability and fix bugs
• Respond to support requests you send us

We do not use your content for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We use Supabase to host authentication and database services. They process data on our behalf to run wrdly. We do not share your writing with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention

We keep your account and writing data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your account record and associated writing data from our systems, except where we are legally required to retain limited records.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account and associated personal data from inside the wrdly iOS app: open Profile, then Delete my account. You can also request deletion by contacting us through the support page. Deletion removes the account; temporary deactivation alone is not our model.

Children

wrdly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of wrdly after an update means you accept the revised policy.
